Review of The Day the Earth Stood Still (2008) by Do You Even Jay C — 16 Jan 2014
The best way to describe this remake of THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL is unnecessary. This is a terrible film, although the first 30 minutes were pretty good. But the film self-destructs into the middle section and come the final parts of the film, its so plot-hole ridden and disjointed that there is just about nothing there- its so empty, I was questioning myself why I hadn't walked out.
Why? Because I was feeling drowsy and at some points I had fallen asleep during the film. That's a feat- because this movie was very loud.
