Review of The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951) by Tristan L — 23 Jun 2010
" A classic that make you wonder about the violent nature of the human race.".
Klaantu(Michael Rennie) comes to earth in peace, but with warning, Accompanied by a 12 ft indestructable robot, he is confronted by a paranoid military minded American Government. He quickly befriends a small boy(Billy Gray) and his Mother(Patricia Neal) to better understand human nature, to make his decision on the fate of the Planet.
An interesting story with "high-tech" gadgets, and the dramatic 50's acting style certainly make this movie forever classic.
