A classic that shines on many levels. "Klaatu barada nikto" was what came from the lips of the legions of young fans of the film when it was released. A phrase that saves the day in this sci-fi classic that is shoulders above the often campy sci-fi films of the time.
It's messages still remain relevant today & it's pacing & structure make for an entertaining film.
Michael Rennie is very good as Klaatu the inquisitive visitor from another planet here to warn us all unless we change our current path.
A must-see film for sci-fi lovers!
