Review of The Day of the Jackal (1973) by Peter G — 14 Mar 2006
Quality thriller action - but read the book people, read the book! Frederick Forsyth said of the book that the whole point was not to make the authorities aware of the vulnerability of heads of state to attack, but to show how easy it is for a criminal to acquire a false identity for themselves by certain methods, but he doesnt think that anyone got that point!
