I give this film one star for being directed by Mike Nichols, and another star for being edited by Sam O'Steen. That is where the positive aspects of this film end. The story is too farfetched and the ending is seemingly incomplete.
Alright, it makes an okay kids' movie, but I can't believe this was nominated for 2 Oscars... what?... oh, they were for Best Sound and Best Music... okay, I can believe that...
