Review of The Day After Tomorrow (2004) by Marcel V — 26 Oct 2015
Roland Emmerich's The Day After Tomorrow is a good movie that is quite better than I've expected from his movies. The effects look amazing, and the plot is not bad. The writing can be clunky, but I was honestly fine with it most of the time.
The acting is really good, and there are some good thrills in here. It can get a little ridiculous at times, and the ending is a little anticlimactic here. The soundtrack by Harald Kloser is pretty cool to listen to, and I did like to see where the film was going.
The Day After Tomorrow is not the best disaster film I've seen, but it's an entertaining popcorn film that is just mostly just a B movie at the most.
