Review of The Day After Tomorrow (2004) by Amber T — 23 Jan 2013
The Day After Tomorrow was a good movie because it showed how people have to work together. At anytime, you can die. The movie was mostly about global warming. To me, it shows you what to do if global warming comes and you have a weather change and the world is covered by a huge ice storm. In the movie, the storm started to move closer to New York City and it started raining and then it was haling huge hail balls. They were so big they looked like footballs. Then it got cold and start snowing like no other. It got so cold that you could have frozen. But, the young boy named Sam tried to tell everyone to stay inside or they would all froze to death. They were thinking that Sam did not know what he was talking about.
The message in this movie was that when something like this happens you should listen and stay together because global warming can and will kill you. This movie effected my perception of global warming because it is scary and when someone tells you something to do with global warming there is nowhere to hide from it. I would recommend this movie because it is a powerful movie. It almost made me cry and there are a lot of surprises in this movie. For example, this shows you that your life can be taken at anytime or day. I really liked this movie. This is a movie to watch with your family or friends.
