Andrew Griego The Day After Tomorrow.

My opinion on the movie The Day After Tomorrow is an eye opening picture that shows the future of the earth. This may have not happened last year but it will happen eventually. This movie shows not only the visual affects but also the scientific reason to why it happened. For me this movie will show the new struggles we will face without technology and as human civilization as one to survive.

The Day After Tomorrow is a movie directed by Roland Emmerich the studio was 20th Century Fox. The actors of this movie had a family feeling with Sam Hall (Jake Gyllenhaal) Jack Hall (Dennis Quade) this was a father soon movie in which jack the father tries to save his soon Jake from the storm in New York not knowing if his soon was still alive. He finds his soon at the end but barely alive with some new friends ready to be rescued. The overall point of the movie is to stay together and try to survive by trying to keep the future safe one step at a time.

Basically in the movie it starts off with scientist studying the effects on global warming and they spot an event that will happen but they mistake the day for too late, and it happens sooner than thought. The government is freaking out trying to find out what they are going to do and how they are going to make civilization survive. Sam is stranded becoming a leader for a small group so they can survive. They survive and find each other but the story line ends in a crappy way. They find each other and they don?t even show what or how they are going to survive this ice age.

In the movie there is a key detail that makes Sam want to become the hero of this situation. The girl that Sam likes is getting hit on by another guy and Sam is jealous. This makes Sam want to protect her by even risking her life. This leads up to an interesting point in the movie when the girl is dying Sam risks his life but going to a nearby boat that drifted in the city for medical supplies. He finds the supplies but has to face some wolves that escaped from the zoo as shown earlier in the movie. He gets through the situation not knowing if the medicine will even cure the girl since she is so close to death.

Overall I would recommend this movie it is a good one maybe two time thriller. This movie has some graphic scenes for adults but also can teach little kids that they need to step up and not let this happen it?s their future. I make this recommendation to any end of the world fanatics out there.

This movie was a great one especially the visual effects making everything look like the world really did freeze over. This movie will keep you calm but interested in so if you want a good basic story line movie I recommend watching The Day After Tomorrow.
