Review of The Darwin Awards (2007) by William H — 26 Jan 2010

I liked the premise of this one: you know, being a claims adjuster for an insurance company. Most of this movie however, is pretty boring considering 2 thirds of it has to do with the interaction between Winona Ryder and that super- uptight guy.

But when they cut to the people's death scences, that's where it kept me interested. Like the great segment where David Arquette Wants to due something to impress his girlfriend (Juliette Lewis) so he buys a jet engine from two shady weapons dealers (the mythbusters) and straps it on to the back of his beat up old car which launches his stupid ass into the side of a mountain!

Other than those moments, I was dozing-off from the lack of chemistry between the main characters.
