This movie, to me, should mark the death of YA novel film adaptations. It's a dull and predictable movie which wastes an interesting concept. That being said, I found it unintentionally hilarious with its dumb characters and plot points.
The ham fisted racism allegory is very uninteresting and heavy handed.
