I like the concept way more than the execution. Can't help but compare it to Skyline or Cloverfield for its random group of survivors trying to last through the apocalypse kind of deal. At least the characters weren't as annoying.
Pseudo-techno-babble was interesting, as well as the idea behind the aliens that were attacking. I was never bored while watching, but I was never really into it, either.
