This movie's preview intrigued me and I've wanted to see it for some time. I never seemed to be able to get to the theater. Now that I've watched it on DVD I'm glad I didn't waste my money.

Holy cripes did this stink. Not only is the acting bad but so was the editing and some scenes didn't even make sense. For instance there's a scene where survivors and our main characters are on a boat on the Moscow river.

They've run aground and can see their destination about 2 football fields ahead. But a building near them collapses and the debris forces everyone into the river. Our two main characters get separated and even though their goal was only 500-600 yards away on the river, one of them somehow is now farther into the city shooting flares into the air.

How'd the hell did she get way over there? There were a few more instances like this were one scene to the next just didn't fly with me. So if the only other thing you have to do is pick the lint out of your belly button then go ahead and watch this movie, otherwise don't bother and watch Star Trek for the 27th time.
