The movie is a decent watch with a straightforward plot and storytelling. I found the fantasy world making dull and a bit too simple, I had expected something more from it knowing it is based on a famous book series but having not read the same.
I am pretty sure they botched up the transition from book to the movie. The cast and their performances are good but not enough to warrant a watch.
