This is another proof that you need the talent of Stanley Kubrick to make a decent adaptation of King's work. His stories need to be trimmed to translate properly as a great movie. The dark tower was a kitschy mess , some compared it to a mashup of lotr and matrix , couldn't agree more .
Elba and Mc Conaughey despite decent performances did not manage to save me from boredom.
