Review of The Dark Tower (2017) by Niccole H — 08 Aug 2017

This movie was quite enjoyable. My entire family found something to love about the movie and the characters. Idris Elba was a fabulous gun slinger and Matthew McConaughey was a formidable adversary. As someone who has not read the books, I can honestly say that I walked away from this movie with a very positive outlook on the book.

I want to read the books and see where else Stephen King went in the novels, but without any prejudice I can definitely say this was an exciting movie on its own merits. I disagree strongly with the critics and the King fans who can't see past their own novel-based biases.
