Better than I expected, this makes a decent (short!) adventure flick. The trick is to go see it with the firm understanding that, despite certain similarities in some names, characters, and events, this movie is NOT part of the "Dark Tower" series written by Stephan King.
Think of it as a shared-world story and enjoy it.
