Wasn't as bad as everyone says. I read all the books, and while the movie is quite different, I thought they did a good job. They incorporated a lot of elements from all the books into the movie. Matthew Mcconaughey was very effective as the man in black, and did a great job as Roland, and Jake was good.

I really want to see more of this universe done on a larger budget. This is my favorite story of all time and I really liked seeing these elements come to life on the big screen. It's not too long and anyone can follow the story easily.
