Review of The Dark Tower (2017) by Tom K — 16 Aug 2017

I have not read the books, so I went on not knowing anything other than its a King book, and the casting seemed good.

This movie seemed to have an interesting idea, but seemed to be completely bare bones, and lacked any meat to the story. The pacing was all wrong, you could tell moments were supposed to seem pivotal or monumental, but they just died out because of the lack of character development and the speed at which these moments came and went.

I would not recommend watching this at all. Even if you read the novels and loved them, I can only feel that this will be a major disappointment.
