I don't know what everybody's bitching about. I knew nothing about the backstory. I never read the books. And I think this movie was terrific. At first it reminded me a little bit of The Matrix.
Didn't know what was going on. Shrouded in unknowns. Very mysterious. Suspenseful. It made me want to know more about the story. Looking forward to the TV series.
