Not sure why this movie was slammed by critics- insuring that it would fail. Did they even see the movie? Whether you're a fan of the novels or not, I found this movie very enjoyable and satisfying.
It's just a shame that many people won't see this movie due to the critics- but if you do, I think you will enjoy it too.
