Loved this movie! I knew they were going to use some things from the books and add creative new stuff, so I wasn't dismayed that it wasn't a faithful adaptation. If you love Roland Deschain, you'll want to see all about him that you can.
The special effects were good, and if this does well he will star in a TV series that explores the adventures of his youth!
