It's not that the Gunslinger is horrible. Just the tone; the tone is all off. It's muddled and has the feeling of a movie that's had too many rewrites and too many different people with their hands in it.
I'm not even that disappointed because I kept my expectations hideously low. Just a bummer that I had to do that.
