Being new to the Dark Tower all together, I felt that this film didn't fully deserve much of the negative review's it got. I can understand for fans of the book not liking it. I am aware that the movie has its flaws, where I believe the shorter time frame constricted the world building a bit which in this case is important.
But the plot, wonderful acting by Idris Elba, Matthew Mcconaughy and Tom Taylor, action scenes and cinematography were outstanding.
