If you read the books maybe you won't like this movie, but if you are like me and have not, I think you will enjoy this movie a lot. It's a solid action fantasy set in an interesting universe with good characters.
Matthew Mcconaughey is not my favourite actor, but he does a solid job playing an embodiment of pure evil in this movie, killing without remorse or regret. Idris Elba is a great gunslinging hero also.
If you don't have any attachment to the books, give this movie a shot like I did, you might just be surprised like I was.
