Review of The Dark Tower (2017) by John T — 03 Aug 2017

This was not how I remember the books though I read them many years ago. That being said my girlfriend who never read any of the books really enjoyed the movie as did I. Her only complaint was she wished it was longer.

My only complaint is I found the showdown between the man in black and the gunslinger to be slightly underwhelming. I really enjoyed the movie as a whole and would recommend this for people who have never read the books, enjoy action movies and for people who only have limited time to spend at the movies since it only is about an hour and a half long.

I think that they could make a very good franchise with this series since they laid the groundwork with having much better acting than I anticipated.
