Review of The Dark Knight Rises (2012) by Chris E — 16 Jan 2015
A slow but necessary start to introduce new characters and ends with a climax it deserved. Bane is no Joker, but is played the correct way a relentless one man army. Anne Hathaway fixes the female lead issue that Katie Holmes and Maggie Gyllenhaal brought on as Rachel Dawes.
The movie is more of a dark drama mixed with an action film but when I say action film its not same kind of action film as its predecessor. I also keep seeing stuff about lack of humor which isn't true I just think most critics don't have any.
Overall the bar was set very high due to the last movie, but this film is worth the watch and a great ending to a fantastic trilogy.
