Review of The Dark Knight Rises (2012) by Cruz Y — 09 May 2016

The Dark Knight Rises is one of the best movies added to the DC franchise. It has all the wonders of the other DC movies like suspense, darkness, sadness, and of course lots of action! It may not have the villain we all know and love The Joker but Bane definitely isn't going to hit you with boredom and he is by far probably the biggest challenge for Batman out of the movies made. Lots of action and of course the cliffhangers we all know and love that Batman movies always have. (Sarcasm).

Batman movies aren't really meant to be inspirational but it uses many devices to grab your attention. Like the original start that Batman movies have about his parents being murdered in front of him and why he becomes Batman. But if you really watch closely you can see that they added a little motivation type of scene to the movie. I won't spoil how but it's definitely there.

The music oh the music added many aspects to the movie. The main theme song when he puts on his suit to the intense upbeat music when Batman and Bane confront each other. Without the music this movie would not have gotten the full 5 stars from me it just gives you chills when watching. The sound effects of the hits batman exchanges with people to the visual effects of his gadgets its just all really appealing to the eye. Batman movies are pretty dark movies so it takes really intense music and flashy effects to truly bring out what Batman is and it really grabs your attention gets you a little squirmy.

So much can be said about this movie. From the music straight down to the script. I've always been a huge Batman fan and the movies never fail. A good movie is a movie that catches your eye instantly with the music or the very first scene, maybe even the narration. It'll keep you thinking what will happen next throughout the movie and then when will the next one come out when the movie is over. Batman: The Dark Knight Rises has all of the aspects of a great movie and I recommend it to anyone that loves action and of course is a DC fan like I am.
