Review of The Dark Knight (2008) by Anthony G — 13 Aug 2016
The Dark Knight is not only a comic-book adaptation, it's a film about themes as well. The Joker's viewpoint on chaos, order, anarchy, morality of an average human being is a key example of what I'm trying to explain.
This film surpasses all the superhero flicks we get today because of the complexity it has to offer to it's characters and plot. It's not about the CGI action sequences that tell a story, it's about the exploration of the theme of hero and villain, as well as order and anarchy.
