Review of The Dark Knight (2008) by Tony B — 27 Feb 2015
The Dark Knight was the blockbuster of the decade. Forever emblazed in our minds. TDK showed us what it was like to be Batman, from the difficult decisions to the heartbreak. From the first second of the movie (bank robbery scene) until the closing credits, this was a pure epic.
Jim Gordons speech at the end of the movie is burned into my mind, never to be forgotten. One of the main attraction's of the film was watching Heath Ledger give the performance of a lifetime. Not only did we get the definitive Joker, we also got our definitive Batman.
All in one movie. The greatest feud ever captured on film....and it just so happened to be a "superhero movie". How about that?
