Review of The Dark Knight (2008) by Myles D — 11 Mar 2015
This movie just....wow. Heath Ledger kills the role of the Joker and in my opinion, he is a better Joker to me than Jack Nicholson. He was funny, threatening, and downright scary. The story was complex and great.
Everyone performed their roles very well. Two-Face was portrayed very well, so much better than the god awful version in Batman Forever. You actually see how good he was and the traumatic experience that sends him over the edge.
Christian Bale, again, portrays Batman very well in this movie, I just wish he would get rid of that lung cancer voice. By far, hands down, the best scene in the movie is the interrogation scene. You can't help but agree with everything the Joker says.
The score to this movie greatly helps as well, wonderfully composed. The movie has you at the edge of your seat the whole time. 10/10.
