Review of The Dark Knight (2008) by Ryan T — 05 Nov 2015
The Dark night is one of the greatest super hero movies in the last decade. The movie was released in 2008, and was by far one of the greatest Batman movies of all time, with over a billion dollars in revenue at the box office.
The movie continues the tale of Bruce Wayne, and his role as guardian of Gotham City. With the new district attorney, Harvey Dent, appointed to Gotham, the city's biggest mobsters are afraid that their organizations will come to an end.
Batman is caught in the middle of it when a psychotic criminal, the joker, is hired to put an end to Batman, and all the he stands for. Batman must stop the joker, who is played by Heath Ledger, from turning Gotham city into a nightmare of violence and destruction.
Overall the Dark Knight was an outstanding movie for many reasons. The movie portrayed an excellent example of good and evil, and the roles each character plays. Also, their are many excellent examples of symbolism throughout the movie, and finally, the Dark Knight uses excellent music in certain scenes to add to the overall effect of the movie.
