Review of The Dark Knight (2008) by Eduardo G — 24 Jan 2016
This is the greatest superhero film ever made and one of Nolan's best films. As a comic book fan, I absolutely love this movie. The movie has a dark mood, and it's perfect. It has one of the best cinematography I've ever seen in my years of watching films.
And of course one of the best villain performances ever, Heath Ledger's Joker. He steals every scene he is in, I love Bale as Batman but the Joker definitely steals this movie as a more crazier and gritty version compared to the comics.
The onscreen trio of Batman, Gordon and Harvey Dent succeeds every time. It is beautifully directed and there isn't a moment when your heart isn't racing. This superhero flick succeeds in so many ways, not just as a Batman movie, but as an action-crime movie, it's without a doubt one of the best ever.
