Even without the Batman name attached, this would be still be an unforgettable crime drama. Visually, it's stunning. The story is gripping and packed with stellar performances. Ledger rightfully gets a ton of credit for his work as the Joker, but Eckhart also deserved award consideration.
Everything hits perfectly as the film is well paced and is easily the best of the trilogy. It's one of the greatest films of all-time and my personal favorite.
