The Dark Knight is a perfect example of how to create a real sequel or real superhero movie. Christopher Nolan uses three-phase that feels medium for superhero movies in general but provides a little twist, darker than other movies I've ever seen.
This movie never runs out of the main story and still keep up with the pace, especially with all those characters that really quick make me goosebump in every scene. Heath Ledger steals the show in here, Christian Bale not too prominent, all other actors really keeps up with these two actors.
