Review of The Dark Half (1993) by Mark D — 17 Jan 2011
An overlooked gem in George A. Romero's impressive filmography, this adaptation of Stephen King's "Oh no! They've discovered that I'm also Richard Bachmann!"-allegory is still a pretty fine psychological thriller that features truly Romero-esque pulp sequences.
Plus: the cast is amazing. Orion shelved the movie when it was finished in 1990 due to financial problems and released it 3 years later when it bombed at the box office. This one deserves much more attention!
