This is one of my favorite George Romero films. It has some great scares and it's a very fun film. A lot of people hate this movie because it was taken a lot less seriously then the book. But this is a George Romero film not a Stephen King film.
And this movie isn't really much of a book adaptation. George Romero basically just took the idea of Stephen King's book and made it into his own fun and enjoyable movie.
