Review of The Dark Half (1993) by Archibald T — 22 Mar 2011
At a young age, Thad Beaumont, suffered from a tumor which turned out to be the other half of what use to be a baby. You see when Thad was in his mother's womb, he absorbed the other fetus. It only was half absorbed leaving the other half to thrive in his mind.
Now as an adult he's turned that other half into a pseudonym called George Stark. George is a killer, plain and simple. Thad isn't and wants to destroy George. It's a strange film because even though Thad and George are the same people, they are still separate from each other.
Oh, also, the film is plagued with Sparrows. Sparrows everywhere! It's madness! Ahhhh!
