Fascinating puppetry still, but I didnt realize all this time it was a 2012 movie. arrgh. The higher beings upset the balance dealio and split off into impotent hummers making sand mandalas and hateful demons parasiting off mortals.
The reptilian buzzard dudes torturing the pod ppl to drain their whatever-it-was to feed off them and create tranced out slaves is fairly disturbing. Jim Henson let it go wild in this one. It's mostly an anti-slavery movie like Conan the Barbarian and Blade Runner which interestingly all came out the same year.
