Review of The Dark Crystal (1982) by Matthew V — 08 Oct 2010
I first must say that this is a very weird movie, yet entertaining most of the time. With it's imaginative characters, words, and legends, The Dark Crystal is a much darker muppets kind-of-movie. The effects are unique.
The characters are amazing and the action is non-stop. There are several hilarious parts within the film one involving what many think to be a dog. The storyline is not as strong as it could be, but the filmmakers and creative teams more than make up for it with all other aspects of the film.
