Review of The Darjeeling Limited (2007) by Wagner N — 11 May 2011
Wes Anderson movies either hit home with me, or they fly right on by. "Royal Tenenbaums" and "Life Aquatic", for instance, are wonderful. But nothing about "Darjeeling" stuck with me.
Maybe I should watch it again. I guess that that points to something meaningful about Anderson's wor as whole. Something important, like the subjectivity of art and expression, or some such thing.
I don't know. I certainly don't know why we assign star ratings to movies.
