Review of The Darjeeling Limited (2007) by Tommy T — 19 May 2010
More of Anderson's deadpan quirkery and affluent angst, here made irresistibly watchable by the fine photography and performances (particularly Owen Wilson's) and unusual location. Not exactly a barrel-full of belly-laughs, but by turns funny and poignant, with a curious mixture of hope and cynicism, like a less angry 1970s.
