Review of The Darjeeling Limited (2007) by Adam K — 08 Aug 2012
If ever Wes Anderson has proven his status as an auteur who can continue to give you something different with each film, all the while sticking to his artistic merits, its here. Blending themes of sorrow and family dysfunction with wit, humor and and untouchable dedication to visual detail and set decoration, Anderson, along with his dedicated cast have given fans and all audiences alike a film to celebrate the idea that you don't need large scale budgets and gigantic visual effects to make a film and tell a story that exercises the eyes, the mind and the soul.
