Review of The Darjeeling Limited (2007) by Keltons. — 22 Oct 2007
While Wes Anderson kind of lost it with The Life Aquatic, he redeemed himself with Darjeeling. The movie is amazing to look at with an Indian color palette of oranges, turquoises, reds, and yellows, and the story is actually really engaging.
Each of the three brothers seems like a real unique person at the end and the soundtrack is used beautifully like in all Wes Anderson films. I don't know why the critics didn't like it so much.
Yes Anderson may not have made a revolutionary film for him, but he has proven that he is amazing at what he does.
