This is not the story of a man who saved the lives of one thousand people from imminent murder; or a pilot who survived an air crash just to find himself in a Vietnamese prison camp, suffering torture and denigration.

This is not the story of a slave that spent 12 years of his existence enduring physical and psychological violence until his liberation. It does not describe the drama of eight soldiers risking it all in order to rescue one man behind enemy lines; or a man whose arm gets trapped between a stonewall and a rock.

It is just the biography of the first transgender that accepted sex affirmation surgery. The performances are fine, but the plot is not engaging.
