Overall not a bad film but not a great one either. There is some beautiful cinematography and Alicia Vikander is tremendous. In my opinion Eddie Redmayne's performance has been massively over hyped.
He seemed to rely upon the same simpering pose at key plot points throughout the movie. This was rather grating upon me by the end and prevented me from fully empathising with his character.
