Review of The Danish Girl (2015) by Kate T — 22 Jan 2016

I am perhaps a little biased seeing this movie. I am a transgender woman, still married to her beautiful wife. I have seen reviews that have commented that the relationship between Lil/Einer and Gerda seems wooden and unrealistic.

I can say without any shadow of a doubt that this movie is almost a vignette of our life. Hooper, Vikander and Redmayne "get it". If you want to gain an inkling of understanding of transgender individuals and the people who love them then please, see this movie.
