It's much better than I thought it would be, actually. Alicia Vikander is pretty amazing in her role, and Redmayne just nails the lead. I was happily surprised to see Matthias Schoenaerts as the childhood friend who comes back into Lilly's life.
Sure, it's a little on the nose, but it's a very good movie.
