Review of The Danish Girl (2015) by Josh M — 15 Jan 2016

I'd put 4.5-5 stars to this movie if main character was played by someone else! Great plot, beautiful light, beautiful scenery, visually - a pleasure to watch; great performance by Alicia Vikander, but just very very mediocre (to not say worse) performance by Eddie Redmayne :-( The main character's mimics, gestures, antics, behavior and appearance left impression of being a quintessence of stereotypes actor and/or director had about MTF transgenders and didn't give impression of reality of character and his-turned-hers emotions, feelings, sensations.

.. It just didn't make me believe in what was portrayed :-(.
