Review of The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys (2002) by Kelly D — 21 Dec 2003
This movie was really touching. It brings you back to middle school ages and reminisces about being stupid and playing pranks. The characters are well developed especially by Emile Hirsh- who's amazing, and also Kieran Culkin and the girl whose name I forget- is it Anna or something? Although the ending is a bit cheesy, I still think the situation is handled well by the actors and it displays honesty and sensitivity through the eyes of 13 year old boys.
The use of animation in this movie is also really cool.
