Review of The Damned United (2009) by Phil D — 02 Mar 2010
Now I am not that big a football fan (yes I know, i'm the devil and all that) but even I found this to be engrossing. Most of my love of this film goes to Michael Sheen who continues his reputation as one of britain's best actors with his terrific potrayal of Brian Clough.
A just as strong supporting that festure sthe lieks of Spall that includes Timothy Spall, Jim Broadbent and Colm Meany makes this a lot better than your average ITV Sunday night drama. Very intriguing and great football drama.
